Manuscript submission

Proceedings – Presenters of invited symposium presentations and keynote lectures are expected to contribute to the symposium proceedings. All contributions will be reviewed. The Proceedings will be published by Aarhus University Press (www.unipress.dk). The price is 500 DKK. Order the proceedings already now when you register.

Contributed Papers

The submitting author must choose whether he or she prefer to present the paper orally or as a poster. All contributed papers will be evaluated and presentations marked for oral presentation may have to be presented as a poster. If the decision is unacceptable to the submitting author the paper may be withdrawn.

Oral Paper – Oral Papers will be 15 minutes in length (inclusive of questions). As far as possible, the contributed papers will be grouped into topical sessions and included within the programme of the invited thematic topics chosen by the submitting author.

Posters – Posters should fit onto the bulletin boards ~ 184 cm high by 94 cm wide (approximately 72' high by 28' wide). Material may be secure to the bulletin board with push-pins which will be available at the registration desk. All posters will be on display for the duration of the congress; with a single, congress-wide poster session held on Wednesday, August 13rd. Posters will be grouped into topical sessions and included within the programme of the invited thematic topics chosen by the submitting author.

Invited Papers

Symposium presentation - Invited symposium presentations have been arranged in advance and are coordinated by the organisers. Each slot will start with one 30 minutes talk and be followed by three 20 minutes talks (both inclusive of questions).

Keynote Lectures – Keynote Lectures are arranged in advance by the organising committee. These are typically 45 minutes in length.

Audio-Visual Information

Computer-based PowerPoint presentations will be the standard. Additional audio-visual and technology needs (such as video cassette players and monitors etc.) must be requested when the abstract is submitted online. A speaker's room will be available from 8.30-17.00 during the congress for checking the presentations.

Workshops and specialist groups

Workshops and meetings of specialist groups can be arranged on an ad hoc basis. If you already plan such meetings please let us know.
